Hvar. Surveillance Сamera

In front of us is the southern coast of the Croatian island of Hvar, and one of the main beaches, Hvar Beach. The sightseeing camera shows, in detail, the southern areas of the city, Galesnik Island, the Adriatic Sea and the beach, where the Franciscan monastery of Hvar is situated.

The monastery was built in 1461. Initially, there was the east tower, which protected the settlement from pirate raids. The monastery was destroyed several times by invaders, but always rebuilt by the efforts of the local population, as the city’s symbol of rebirth.

Among other attractions, you can highlight the Cathedral of St. Stephen, dating to the sixteenth century and located in the central square of Hvar, and the arsenal building.
