Prusinovice. The Panorama of the Village
The camera is installed in the center of the village of Prusinovitse, located in the east of the Czech Republic. The population of this quiet town is about 1,000 people. We are looking to the south, from the municipality building. In the foreground, you can see the traffic on the main street, Zámčisko, and in the distance you can see Podbeskydská Hills.
The first mention of Prusinovitse dates back to the fourteenth century; this village has a long history, and there are landmarks of different eras in it. One of the main architectural constructions of the village is the Church of St. Catherine, located 100 meters from this camera. This church was built in the sixteenth century, but it is well-preserved to this day. Large-scale reconstruction was carried out in the nineteenth century.
Another historical building is the castle of Katsarov. Unfortunately, today we can see only the ruins of it. We don’t known in what century the castle was built, but its ruins have been here from the beginning of the sixteenth century.
Annual races and cycling races are held there and attract the residents of nearby towns.
