Rakovník. At the Road Junction of Na Sekyře and Poštovní Streets

We are now observing a road junction in the historical part of the town of Rakovnik I. Webcam is located nearby important town’s buildings such as the Rakovnik Cultural center, schools, as well as hotels and cafes.

Besides modern houses, we can also see one of the major tourist attractions of Rakovnik — the high tower of the 16th-century entrance gate, which is nothing else but remnant of the medieval fortifications. The brickwork is 31 metres high (46 metres with roof) and is interestingly decorated with animal ornaments. Today, the space inside the tower is used as a gallery and houses different exhibitions of the Rakovnik Museum.
