Rokytnice nad Jizerou. The Lysá Hora

Stunning views over the Liberec region of the Czech Republic became available for us thanks to this webcam, which has been placed on the top of the mountain Lysá Hora, at the altitude of 1315 metres above sea level. At the very foot of the mountain lie several charming villages. They are representing a popular winter destination for tourists, enthusiasts of alpine skiing and snowboarding, as well as other types of winter sport.

This webcam has been operating since 2005. Today it helps many tourists learn more about the weather conditions on the territory of the Rokytnice Ski Resort. If the weather is good enough, we can even observe the very top of the Studnice Mountain, located 37 kilometres from the Lysá Hora.

Lysá Hora is also very popular among tourists during the summer time, when they come up to its top to enjoy the bird-eye view of the clouds and surrounding mountains.

Besides this webcam, which is turned south, there can be found several more webcams located on the upper station of the lift.
