Rokytnice nad Jizerou. Panorama of the Ski Resort

It’s a perfect example of how one can cover almost the whole territory of a ski resort with the help of one camera. We are looking at the slopes, cable cars and hotels of the resort of Rokytnice nad Jizerou, from the lower station of the Lysá hora cableway, built at an altitude of 718 meters above sea level. With this funicular, you can get from here to the eponymous peak in just 7 minutes.

The rotary camera shows all the main slopes of the resort. In other parts of Rokytnice nad Jizerou, there are training routes, which are of no interest to experienced skiers. As you can see, on the slopes of Mount Fox, there are several routes separated from each other by thick trees.

The upper station of the Lysá hora ski lift is at an altitude of 1,310 meters, which is only 34 meters below the top of Fox. By the way, at the very top, tourists can stay at Chata Lysá Hora.

It is interesting that the routes on the slope of Mount Fox are clearly zoned, according to the level of difficulty. The steep and difficult route number 5 is laid parallel to Lysá hora cableway and, if you go to the west, you can ski along the easy route number 1.
