Webcam from Svaty Petr, which is the most important sport centre in Spindleruv Mlyn, a Czech town in the Krkonoše. The town is also known as the place where writer Franz Kafka lived when he wrote one of his most famous works, The Castle.

Today Spindleruv Mlyn is one of the most well-known and visited mountain resorts in the country. The ski resort has 20 runs and hosts the European Cup in freestyle skiing and SnowJam (a professional snowboarding event) during the winter season. Svaty Petr is, in its turn, a well-equipped and modern ski center. It has 3 chair lifts and 5 ski lifts, which are all open during the winter season. You can as well reach the Medvědín ski area with the help of the regular ski bus.

If you prefer hiking, mountain biking or cross-country skiing, you will find many appropriate trials in the surrounding area. They are almost all marked and are in a very good condition.

Visitors and tourists will never feel bored in Spindleruv Mlyn. Here they will find many restaurants, ski and snowboard schools, swimming pools, bowling, sleigh and sledge routes. Every evening visitors can enjoy night-skiing on the new downhill slope called Hromovka.
