Strakonice. The Bezdekovska Street

Webcam in the historical part of the town of Strakonice, just a few steps from the Castle of Strakonice. It is, obviously, a modern town with shopping malls and large hotels. Now it is hard to believe that this town started once as a union of small villages around the medieval fortress.

There are only two things left today which remind about those old times. At first, it is the Castle itself and, at the second, the local medieval festival. This festival is organized in the town every year and is, actually, one big fair, where the local craftsmen sell their handmade products and some highly skilled jugglers make other people laugh.
