Helsinki. The Vuosaari Harbour. Entrance to the Port

The new and beautiful seaport of the Finnish capital, the Vuosaari port, has helped to reduce the cargo load to the existing city ports. We are now observing the car gates of the port.

In the background, we can see the white-blue bridge, connecting the main building of Gate House with cycle routs leading to the neighboring villages. These roads for cyclers are very much used not only by protectors of environment, but also by workers of the port.

For the local passenger traffic are used ferries of company RoPax. Large size and massive dimensions of these vessels are essential when the question comes to a huge number of passengers who desire to travel with their own car.
