Savigny-sur-Orge. Watching the Weather
We are in the commune of Savigny-sur-Orge, 20 kilometers from Paris. The camera is installed in the south-west direction, and transmits information about the weather in this quiet suburb of the French capital.
The French, who work in Paris, increasingly prefer to buy housing in remote settlements, where you can relax from the bustle of the megapolis — all the houses are low-rise and literally buried in green trees. This may explain the more than twofold increase in population over the past half-century. Now it is home to about 40 thousand people.
The commune was built around the medieval castle of Seigneurial and most of the territory was occupied by vineyards and farmlands. Several churches, which are the main architectural heritage of Savigny-sur-Orge, can be marked out from the attractions.
