The panoramic camera at the entrance to Kurpark shows us the square, where tourists arrive before entering the popular landscape park of Bad Salzuflen Resort. We are looking at the square from Kurhaus, built on Parkstrasse in 1900. This house has a theatrical stage, a conference hall, and baths with thermal spring water, for which the resort is famous.

Kurpark is located in the northern part of the town and occupies an area of more than 120 hectares, which makes it one of the largest parks in Germany. There are a number of hiking trails and bicycle paths, and you can rent a boat and sail along a large lake, in the center of the park.

Kurpark annually becomes a venue for various festivals. For example, at the end of summer, The Night of 10,000 Candlesticks is held here. Another popular holiday is New Year’s Eve, when the winter sky over the park is lit by fireworks.

In 2017, Kurpark changed significantly. New plants were planted and a “green labyrinth” was built on the eastern shore of the lake.
