Berlin. Rotes Rathaus (Berlin's Red City Hall)

A plenty of European city halls are no longer used for their designated purpose and became just a tourist sight, but not this one.

The Rotes Rathaus (Berlin’s Red City Hall) was artfully rebuilt after suffering severe damages in World War II and nowadays it houses the mayor and administration of reunified Berlin. Opposite the Rotes Rathaus one can find the oldest working church in Berlin — Church of St. Mary.
