Grainau. Community Panorama

The Grainau Resort is located at the foot of the famous Alpine summit of Zugspitze, along which the border between Austria and Germany runs. The rotary camera in the center of the resort shows us this peak, the height of which is 2,962 meters above sea level. In addition, we can see other mountain peaks surrounding Grainau on all sides.

In the foreground are the outdoor swimming pools of the Zugspitzbad Grainau Sports Complex. The complex also includes restrooms, indoor swimming pools, jacuzzi, saunas, Turkish baths, a massage center, infrared cabins, a restaurant, a terrace with sun loungers, and other infrastructure.

A family ticket for the whole day costs only 14 euros. For this money, you can spend the whole day swimming, basking in the baths and enjoying magnificent Alpine landscapes. A three-hour ticket for two adults, with a child, costs 10 euros.

The resort of Grainau offers a variety of accommodation options, so there are many guests in both the summer and the winter. During the ski season, tourists try to stay closer to Garmisch-Partenkirchen, where there are cableway stations.
