Kiel. Naval Shipyard

On the opposite shore of the Fjord of Kiel, in Germany, we can see German Naval Yards Kiel. The history of the shipyard began in 1838 and has since become one of the most advanced in Germany, currently producing all the main types of military ships.

Recently, different foreign companies have become customers of the shipyard. The shipyard also produces modern civilian vessels, such as White Pearl. Werften der German Naval Yards Holdings also produces wind turbines on the water.

The building of NDR TV and Radio Company (where this camera is installed) and the shipyard are divided by the Kiel Fjord. Its total length is about 17 kilometers. Around the fjord are many industrial plants, and it is home to about 30 species of fish; the most popular with fishermen are salmon, trout and herring.
