Munich. Hellabrunn Zoo. Elephants and Monkeys

The Hellabrunn Zoo in Munich is one of the oldest zoos in Europe. It was opened in 1911, more than 100 years ago.

All local animals must be feeling very comfortable because they are being taken care of according to the “species-appropriate approach” (it means no bars, no fences, only spacious open-air cages with suitable terrain).
