Baldissero Torinese is located in the Italian province of Turin, on the mountainside. The houses here are built on different levels, so almost all the inhabitants have stunning views of the eastern part of Piedmont.

In the twelfth century, the village of Baldicherium Cheriensium was on the site of modern Baldissero Torinese and, only at the end of the seventeenth century, a town was founded here. It’s interesting that the number of residents has remained almost unchanged for centuries; there were about 3,000 people 300 years ago, and there are now 3,775 people in 2016. This is largely due to the decline of agriculture after the Second World War.

The town has several attractions, the most interesting of which are the church and the town hall.
