Dorf Tirol. Panorama of Merano

You can see Merano, the second most populous town of the province of Bolzano, Italy. It is home to about 40,000 people. If you see a great number of people in the streets of Merano, don’t be surprised because it is a popular tourist destination.

The largest ski resort, Meran 2000, is to the east of the town on the slopes of Mount Ifinger. In the western suburbs of Merano is the ancient castle, Lebenberg, as well as tourist fairgrounds and other architectural attractions.

The camera is installed in the Tirolo region. It is famous for its vertical drop of nearly 2 kilometers. With such a contrast in the landscape, it is not surprising that at the bottom of Tirolo you can find cypresses and palms, and a height of about 2.5 kilometers offers alpine flowers and pine forests, while the tops of the mountains are covered with snow even in the summer months.

Tirolo history begins with the castle, built here in 1140 and now open to the public as a museum of history.
