Genoa. Old Port
It’s the old port of Genoa. The part of the port shown by the webcam is dated to the 500th anniversary of the discovery of America by Columbus and performs the functions of a huge attraction complex.
The magnificent quay-promenade, a copy of a 16th century pirate ship that participated in the filming of Roman Polanski’s movie, showcases a glass bowl with Amazonian woods inside, San Giorgio Palazzo with frescoes on the facade, which illustrate the battle of St. George with the dragon, a panoramic elevator, an aquarium rich in artifacts, and a maritime museum and restaurants — life does not stop here.
Sightseeing boats to Portofino, Cinque Terre also depart from these berths.
