This webcam is situated in probably one of the most scenic and beautiful places of Italy — a small town of Castel Gandolfo. The town lies on Alban Hills in the Lazio region right at the shore of the splendid Albano Lake. The current picture is directly from the Pope’s summer residence.
Castel Gandolfo is located about 24 kilometres from Rome and is mostly famous for its Apostolic Palace of Castel Gandolfo which today serves as a summer residence for the leader of the Catholic Church.
