This webcam captures Piazza di Spagna, one of the most famous squares of Rome. This name is not accidental and the square features important objects which are directly connected to Spain. First of all, the Spanish Steps and Palazzo di Spagna (hosting today the seat of the Embassy of Spain among the Holy See).
Another popular attraction on Piazza di Spagna is the charming Fontana della Barcaccia (in English “Fountain of the Ugly Boat”). It is located right near the bottom of the Spanish Steps and represents a Baroque fresh-water fountain made by Pietro Bernini.
