Haridwar. Ashram Shantikunj
We are moving to the north of India. Here, 200 kilometers north of New Delhi in the town of Haridwar, is the headquarters of the spiritual and public organization, All World Gayatri Pariwar. Ashram (a religious organization founded by a spiritual authority) Shantikunj was founded in 1971 by Shriram Sharma, who is known for such things as being as the founder of All World Gayatri Pariwar, a saint, a visionary, a philosopher, a scientist, the founder of “scientific spirituality”, a great figure of the present, and more.
All day long, the camera shows us a huge number of followers of Sharma, who support his ideas of the cultural, ethical, moral and spiritual awakening of mankind. Simply put, the adherents of this religion stand for all the good, against all the bad.
Situated on the bank of the holy Ganges between the Shivalik Ranges of the Himalayas, Ashram Shantikunj has become the main place in the city in recent years, where thousands of tourists come from all over the world. The adepts of Sharma come to Haridwar to participate in various trainings. All of them are aimed at the all-around development of the nation, through the adoption of pseudo-scientific teachings of Sharma.
It is worth noting that Shriram Sharma, who died in 1990, spent his whole life trying to unite religion and science. The Brahmavaraschas Research Institute was established in Haridwar for these purposes.
