Alpbach. Alpbacher Bergbahn Ski Resort
Alpbach, an Austrian ski resort, stands out against others because it is widely known, not only among fans of winter sports but also among cultural and scientific figures, economists and industrialists. After all, the European Forum has been held here for several decades.
Alpbach is known for such titles as ‘the most beautiful village in Austria’, ‘thinkers’ village’, ’ Austrian resort with the cleanest air’ and ‘the most beautiful village of flowers in Europe’. It makes you want to see this place with your own eyes, and not only in the winter.
By the way, the skiing season in Alpbach lasts from December to April and pleases tourists with reasonable prices for ski passes (a whole-day subscription cost 40 euros in 2016). The total length of the routes laid along the surrounding slopes is 145 kilometers. There are 3 snow parks, and lovers of cross-country skiing will find about 100 kilometers of prepared trails here. The resort is served by 47 lifts, one of which we can see on the screen.
The camera is installed at an altitude of 1,880 meters above sea level and shows several slopes of Mount Gmahkopf.
