Nauders. Zirmbahn Station
The Nauders ski resort is located in the northern part of the homonymous community. There are no funiculars in the village, so it is quite comfortable to holiday in it. In its narrow streets, you will rarely meet tourists with skis and snowboards, and the noise comes only from the restaurants and nightclubs of the resort.
We are near Mitterkopf, at the top station of the Zirmbahn lift. This cableway was built in 1999. The upper station is located within walking distance from the border of Austria and Italy. The eight-seat Zirmbahn lift serves the trails with a height difference of about 300 meters. The distance of 1.1 kilometer is covered in 4.5 minutes.
The panoramic camera shows us a lot of Alpine peaks, the mountain valley where Nauders is located, and several other Austrian resorts. On the screen, we can also see the lower station of Zirmbahn, with its cable cars and a large restaurant.
Prices for ski passes in Nauders are no different from those at Austrian resorts. A day pass costs 42 euros. When you buy a seven-day ticket, you get a discount of 40 euros.
