Sankt Peter-Ording. Erlebnis Promenade

A lot of hotels and restaurants are built along the 12-kilometer beach of the German resort, St. Peter-Ording. You can move between them by numerous promenades, including Erlebnis, in front of which this webcam is installed.

We are looking at the famous beach of the resort, the amphitheater, as well as several restaurants from the Ambassador Hotel & Spa. This four-star hotel is one of the most prestigious in St. Peter Ording, so the prices here are slightly above average. A double room starts at 205 euros.

Initially, the camera shows us the performance site, DÜNEN-HUS, then turns to the west and shows the famous pier and the square in front of it. The pier was built in the1920s and is periodically repaired.

In Erlebnis, you can find such interesting objects as Nationalparkhaus (the Natural History Museum) and the tourist center of the resort.

The local population, about 4,000 people, lives away from the main tourist sites, so if you want to see the true St. Peter Ording, you need to go straight to the City Hall and the main square.
