Santa Cristina Valgardena. Col Raiser Cableway

The ski resort of Val Gardena includes many slopes of the Alpine mountains. This camera is installed at the station of the Col Raiser cableway, in the northern part of the village of Santa Cristina Valgardena. There is also a mountain hotel with a restaurant. Thus, guests of the resort can spend the night right at the ski slopes.

The panoramic camera shows the terrace of the restaurant, Baita Odles, several villages at the foot of the mountain, as well as many high peaks of the Dolomites. Most of these peaks, such as Sass Rigais and Furchetta, have a height of more than 3 kilometers above sea level. The first ascents to these mountains were made in the middle of the 19th century.

One ascent on Col Raiser costs 13.5 euros. In the summer months, a return journey is relevant. In this case, you will have to pay 19 euros.

Snow cannons work on the routes of Col Raiser, so the ski slopes are almost always in perfect condition.
