San Sebastian de La Gomera. Panorama of the Resort

The resort of San Sebastian de la Gomera is located in a cozy place, on the eastern coast of the Canary Island of Gomera. It is very popular with tourists due to its beautiful landscape, a furnished promenade, and a beach in the center of the resort. The camera is installed on the mountainside, built up by residential buildings and hotels.

On the screen, we can see almost the entire coastal part of the town. To the left is the marina with yachting and ferry berths, as well as the port of San Sebastián de la Gomera. Along the quay, we can see traffic on Descubridores Avenue and Avenida del Quinto Centenario. Most of the guests of the resort relax on the large beach called De La Punta.

San Sebastian de la Gomera has a rich history which includes the great Christopher Columbus. He stayed at these places during his famous trip to the shores of America. At the end of the 16th century, the Dutch tried to capture the town, but their attack from the ocean was repulsed.

At the top of the slope, from which we are looking at the panorama of the resort, is one of the main attractions of the island, Torre del Conde Tower, which was part of the Castilian Fortress in the Middle Ages.
