Rome. Piazza Navona. The Fountain of Neptune

Piazza Navona is a quite interesting place in Rome. As a fact, it occupies the site of the Stadium of Domitian, built about 2000 ages ago.

In the very center of it stands the famous Fontana dei Quattro Fiumi (or, simply, Fountain of the Four Rivers). Among other attractions of the square are Palazzo de Cupis, the Church of Nostra Signora del Sacro Cuore (in English “Our Lady of the Sacred Heart”) and the Neoclassical Palazzo Braschi, now occupied by the Museum of Rome.

Our webcam captures another touristic site — the Fountain of Neptune.

Piazza Navona serves today as a popular tourist attraction and a frequented meeting place for many locals.
