We can see one of the many bays of the Tasman Sea. Waikawa is the name of the bay as well as of the pier, the moored boats of which you can see on your screens, and a boat club where the camera is installed.

Marlborough Region brings together many such places in New Zealand and has about 600 piers where anyone can rent a boat. If you have chosen a resort like Waikawa, then you should determine your budget and find a boat that fits your taste and pocket. The most modest boats do not exceed 8 meters in length, and their annual rent for sea diving fans is around $3500. Luxurious 20-meter yachts cost three times as much.

Being in situ, it is possible to agree to a short-term lease, because renting a boat for the whole year is impractical. The pier, which this camera shows, is one of the largest in New Zealand. Not only are boats for rent and private pleasure boats based here, but so are sports vessels participating in the various competitions.
