The city of Saalfelden is located between the popular Austrian ski resorts, in the mountains of Hohkёning and Leogang. We can see Lake Ritzen, which is visited by locals and tourists. The lake is in the category of Naturbad (natural pool), so you can swim there in the summer and skate in the winter.

As you can see, the city is surrounded by mountains where there are tourist hiking and biking trails. Thus, the tourist infrastructure plays an important role in the life of the city, regardless of the season.
