Seegrube complex, from the tracks of which we’re looking at Innsbruck, is located in the northern suburbs, on the slopes of the mountain of the same name. This major Austrian city is considered to be a cultural and sports center of the country.
Innsbruck is built on the Inn River and surrounded by mountains, on the slopes of which are ski resorts for every taste. It is full of historical sites, such as castles, churches, squares and other manmade masterpieces. In addition, the city has a very good location between Italy and Germany.
We can see not only the panorama of the city but the tall alpine mountains in the background. Winter Olympics were held in Innsbruck in 1964 and 1976. Unlike other Olympic cities, sports facilities are in good condition and major international competitions are held here.
The “sports capital” of Austria is filled with fans of ski jumping on the New Year’s holidays. Bergisel Complex hosts one of the stages of the Four Hills Tournament.
