Ponta Delgada. The Port

Awesome, right? There is the Atlantic all around and it’s almost one and a half thousand kilometers between Ponta Delgada and the capital of Portugal.

This port city is six hundred years old. Not surprisingly, Ponta Delgada is the oldest of all cities and towns in the Azores.

The city is worth visiting, just to see the local architecture, as a lot of luxury villas and magnificent cathedrals were built here.
