Before heading to the exciting path leading to the top of Elbrus, many tourists prefer to stop at intermediate points, such as LeapRus. Here you can quickly get acclimatized, as well as gain strength before an exciting journey. Thanks to this webcam, you can enjoy views which the shelter modules offer.

We are looking at the glaciers from the southern slope of Elbrus, from an altitude of 3912 meters above sea level. LeapRus is the highest mountain hotel in Russia. Currently, another hotel, Shelter of Eleven, is being restored. It is 218 meters higher than LeapRus.

The cost of accommodation differs only in the choice of the bed placement. If you want to get a place by the window overlooking the glaciers, you will have to add 1300 rubles to the standard cost of 7500. The easiest way to get to LeapRus is from Garabashi station.

High mountain shelter is surrounded by several glaciers — Garabashi, Terskol, Maly Azau and Bolshoy Azau.
