Demänovská Dolina. Jasná Nízke Tatry Ski Resort
The peak of Chopok is the highest (2,024 meters) in the Low Tatras (Slovak: Nízke Tatry). On its slopes are trails of the Slovak resort, Jasná Nízke Tatry. In total, there are almost 50 kilometers of equipped trails, 12 free-ride zones, a snowpark, a skating rink and various winter fan-attractions, which guarantee positive emotions.
The webcam is installed at the Lukova station (height 1,650 meters). The “champion” trail begins here, where the World Cup in mountain skiing was held three times, and the Junior World Cup was held once. In March 2016, skiers competed in slalom and giant slalom here as well.
At the station, which you see on the screen, is Von Roll Restaurant. The cozy atmosphere, created by wooden furniture and a large fireplace, is suitable for a delicious dinner.
Unlike in many European ski resorts, vacationers rarely meet locals here, since the entire tourist infrastructure has been created from scratch.
