Portorož. The Central Beach. View from Karamela Bar

Karamela is one of the many bars on the coast of the Slovenian town of Portorož. It is open right at the central beach, which you see on the screen. Thanks to two cameras, you can see a complete picture of the main relaxation place at this resort.

The first camera is directed to the west and shows a large sandy beach. The second one looks to the southwest. Here we can see piers in the Adriatic Sea and a well-groomed lawn in front of them. On the piers, which are shown by both cameras, small private vessels, as well as pleasure boats and huge cruise liners are moored.

If you want to go on a sea voyage, be prepared to spend a lot of money. Liner tickets should be bought a year before the cruise. Portorož is one of the stops on a 21-day cruise from Venice. The cost of such a voyage starts from 2,500 euros.

It is interesting that the tourist infrastructure of this Slovenian resort began to develop in the 19th century. In 1891, the first tourist company was established and then the first hotel-bathhouse.
