Cala Rajada. Embankment

The eastern resort of Cala Ratjada, in Mallorca, belongs to the autonomous community of Capdepera, known for its rugged coastline with many bays and capes. Cala Ratjada is no exception. The resort is built on Cape Capdepera and offers its guests several popular beaches, such as Cala Agulla or Cala Mall.

The camera is located next to the largest port of Capdepera and shows us the sea and the promenade of the resort of Carrer Castellet. Cala Ratjada is the nearest point of Mallorca to the island of Menorca, hence, the additional infusions into the economy. The ports of both islands are connected by tourist and cargo routes.

As you can see, not only nature scattered stones along the entire coast, but also man-made sculptures participate in the design of the embankment. The main attraction of the resort is the Capdepera Lighthouse, built on the eponymous cape in the middle of the 19th century.

It is interesting that the resort of Cala Ratjada is very popular with tourists from Germany. In general, the tourist infrastructure in the once small village has been developing rapidly since the 1960s.
