Santander. Real Club Marítimo de Santander

The magnificent Palace of Festivals of Cantabria offers views of the Spanish resort of Santander. This theater, on the shores of the Bay of Santander, was built in 1990 and, since then, has become one of the main symbols of the city. In addition to theatrical plays, the palace is often used for various conferences and meetings.

There are three main halls in the palace: Sala Argenta (1,670 spectators), Sala Pereda (570 seats), Sala Griega (120 seats).

The construction of the palace was accompanied by various scandals, some of which involve the quality of the materials used, such as marble, as well as the lack of natural light inside the building.

On the right part of the screen, we can see traffic on two coastal streets — Castelar and Gamaso. Along these streets, there are many cafes, restaurants, hotels, travel agencies, and other features of popular resorts.

The piers for yachts and boats on the shore of the Bay of Santander belong to Real Club Marítimo de Santander. The berths of the yacht club have slipways.
