Aeschiried. Mount Niesen
We are not far from the Lake of Thun, which is hidden in the Swiss Alps, in the canton of Bern. The camera at the Panorama Restaurant is directed to Niesen Mount. Visitors come mainly from the resorts scattered around the lake.
The restaurant’s menu consists entirely of dishes of fine Swiss cuisine, made with fresh vegetables (at least such statements can be found on the restaurant’s website). But Panorama may surprise its guests not only with its unusual food, but from its name, it is clear that it has great views.
Mount Niesen is often called the Swiss Pyramid because of its shape. You can climb it not only on foot, but also with the help of the Niesenbahn Funicular, which can bring you quickly to an altitude of 2362 meters above sea level. The mountain has a spectacular view of the lake.
