Verbier. Panorama of the Ski Resort

An excellent panorama of the Alpine mountains near the border of France, Switzerland, and Italy opens to us from the five-star hotel, W Verbier. It was built in 2013, in a traditional Swiss commune style, and if not for its huge size, it could easily be confused with a village house.

On the screen, we can see several mountain peaks, such as Brun, La Crevasse and Le Catogne; as well as villages in the valley of Bagnes, Vollèges and Sembrancher. Also, from time to time, we can see cabins of the Le Châble cableway.

Verbier, like most Swiss resorts, is quite expensive. Of course, there are options within 100 euros, but most hotels offer much more expensive rooms. For example, at W Verbier, the cheapest double room, with all the discounts, will cost more than 500 euros, and the luxury rooms are five times more expensive.

The same applies to the rental of sports equipment, as well as ski lift passes. A pass to the ski lifts of four valleys around Verbier costs 70 euros, the price is several times higher than in the Alpine resorts of Italy or Austria.
