Nan. Bridge over the Nan River

Nan is the capital of the eponymous province in the north of Thailand. The distance between Nan and Bangkok is about 650 kilometers. The city was named after one of the largest rivers in the country. We can see the bridge across the Nan River. As in any large city, there are several bridges across this river in Nan.

On the opposite bank, we can see a part of the city quay, Suriyaphong Camp. The tall buildings in the center are part of Nan Hospital, and the Ministry of Health is also visible. The government agency, Saving Suriyaphong, is located near the place where the camera is installed.

Just 3 kilometers from the bridge is the local airport and Rung Sang Golf Club, where fans of this sport hammer balls into holes to the sound of flying planes. By the standards of Thailand, Nan Nakhon Airport is the major airport, which served about 350,000 passengers in 2015.
