Forks. Olympic Natural Resources Center

The University of Washington’s Olympic Natural Resources Center (ONRC) is located in the Olympic National Park in Forks, Washington. In front of us is the road which leads to the Forks airport and on to the city.

Visitors of Olympic National Park stay in Forks, which has a population of only 3.5 thousand people. Several rivers flow near the town, where fishing is very developed. The city gained popularity after a few films of the Twilight series were filmed there. Many sightseeing tours around the city and surrounding areas are devoted to the film.

The studies relating to forestry and marine sciences in the region are studied in the building of the University of Washington, from which the video is being broadcast.
