Kalaloch. The Kalaloch River Mouth
Kalaloch Lodge Resort is located on the Pacific coast, in the state of Washington. In addition to the gorgeous view of the ocean and the estuary of the Kalaloch River, resort guests can visit Olympic National Park, as well as other local natural attractions, located in the continental part of the park and on the water.
In the language of the indigenous population of these places, the word KQ-A-lā’-ȯk means “a good place with the land.”
In addition to the houses located directly at the ocean, tourists can stay in a tent camp. Very often, you can meet fishing fans who come to the Pacific coast and the Kalaloch River in hopes of catching perch, trout or salmon. During the clam gathering season, you can find razor shells, an edible form of clams.
The cost of a one-day tour package to Kalaloch Lodge at Olympic National Park, which includes several excursions and accommodation with meals, is about $250 — $300, depending on the season.
