Port Angeles. Ferry Station
Port Angeles is located on the shore of the Strait of Juan de Fuca. The Canada-US sea border goes along this strait. In the city, is the headquarters of Olympic National Park, on which the economy of Port Angeles and surrounding towns largely depends.
The weather is almost always great in the city, because the mountains of Olympic Park “take on” rain. Thanks to these mountains, Port Angeles is located in the so-called rain shadow area.
The camera is installed in the office of Port Angeles Auto and Passenger Ferry Terminal, serving hundreds of vehicles daily. The ferry connects Port Angeles with the city of Victoria in British Columbia, Canada.
The pier near the ferry is a popular tourist destination of Port Angeles, as there is a boat tour agency, Victoria Express, the high-speed Victoria Ferry.
