This webcam is located in the small town of A Rua, situated at the reservoir of The Saint Martin River.
The town is famous for being located on the Way of Saint James. Thanks to this fact A Rua is permanently passed through by the pilgrims, that always can rely to find here food and lodging for the night.
The town has also got its own architectural monuments. Among those are The Cigarrosa Bridge (a Roman bridge across the Sil River), and The Santo Estevo da Rúa Church (that dates back to the 16th century).
