Ellmau. Children's Playground at the Hartkaiser Station

We are leaving for the top of Ellmau Ski Resort. Tourists come to Mount Hartkaiser in both winter and summer. When the mountain slopes are covered with snow, skiers and snowboarders make their way to the top by cable cars, but in the warm season, hikers walk along the mountain.

Since the mountain does not have outstanding characteristics (its height is only 1,553 meters above sea level), local businessmen try to create an atmosphere of a comfortable family holiday. So, at Hartkaiser Station there is a large playground and the KaiserLounge Restaurant has a big children’s menu.

A lot of recreational activities are organized for children in the summer months. On Hartkaiser, young travelers can take part in the game, Ellmi’s Zauberwelt, during which children go treasure hunting. They are helped by animators and various tips, such as a treasure map or bookmarks in secret places. This game is not only entertaining but also educational.

Do not forget about the numerous water bodies, which attract special attention in the summer. There is a small one at Hartkaiser Station, and in other parts of Ellmau, there are lakes where you can sail a catamaran or go fishing.
