Hinterstoder. Höss-Express Station

This is one of the highest points of the ski resort of Hinterstoder. The camera is installed on the upper station of the Höss-Express cableway, built from Hutterer Böden. Due to the constantly increasing flow of tourists, several lifts are being built at the same time, on the same slope, in Hinterstoder. Höss-Express appeared here in 1999, replacing another cableway, Hösskogel.

The rotary camera shows not only skiers and snowboarders going in different directions but also natural beauties of Austria. In fine weather, the tops of the Northern Limestone Alps are clearly visible in the background. In the summer, we can see Shafkogelze Reservoir in the south.

Near the Höss-Express Station is the mountain hut, Berggasthof Hössalm. In its restaurant, you will be offered home-cooked Austrian cuisine, and you can stay overnight in cozy rooms.

In addition to skiers, the Höss area is frequented by paragliders. It is interesting that the launch pad for flights works in both the summer and the winter.
