Obertauern. Lake Grunwald

We can see Obertauern, a ski resort in Austria, built on Radstädter Tauern Pass. This resort is one of the most popular in the country because there are dozens of trails, of various levels of complexity, good for both beginners and professionals.

We are looking at the ski slopes and mountain artificial ponds from the northern slope of Obertauern. The rotary camera is installed at an altitude of 2,050 meters above sea level. When the camera is directed to Lake Grunwald, in the center of the image, you can see another ski lift of this resort, which gets tourists to the highest slope route starting at 2,200 meters.

At the lake is Seekareckbahn school, where beginners can learn the basics of skiing or snowboarding, and more experienced athletes can improve their skills. On the shore of the lake, you can see the roof of the popular restaurant, Hochalm am Grünwald See.
