Obertraun. Krippenstein Station

The town of Obertraun is not the most visited ski resort in Austria, although, perhaps, it deserves greater popularity. Those who have been here, prefer to return over and over again, trying not to give out their delight about this place. Or, maybe Obertraun really does not suit everyone, only those who appreciate the quiet solitude and pacification.

If you are not attracted to an active nightlife, if you are not distracted by the “lonely” tourism and the real Austrian remote places, with a minimum of restaurants or any entertainment, if you follow the “early to bed and early to rise” rule, come to Obertraun. And not necessarily only in winter; it is very nice there any time of the year.
