West Cracroft Island. Surveillance Camera

The island of West Cracroft is located in the Johnston Strait, one of several straits dividing the island of Vancouver and the mainland of Canada. The island has a neighbor with a similar name, East Cracroft. These two islands become one at low tide.

The islands are named after Sophia Cracroft, the niece of the explorer John Franklin, who visited British Columbia during his world tour in 1858.

This webcam is installed on the west coast of the island. You can watch the life of the inhabitants of the strait and the neighboring islands, as well as enjoy the nature of British Columbia. Off the coast of the island, you can see fishermen who come here in search of a big catch.
