Étretat. View of Rocks and the English Channel
Étretat, a small town, situated in the north-west of France, with a population of only one and a half thousand people, has become a popular tourist destination due to its unique and picturesque nature. The huge rocks on the coast of the English Channel and the sandy beaches of Étretat are visiting cards of the French region of Upper Normandy.
The Domaine Saint-Clair hotel, which is situated on one of the hills of Étretat, has a splendid view. In the hotel, you can always rent a car to take you to the coast. Even though the beach is only 600 meters and the beautiful scenery would make walking pleasant, climbing back up the mountain isn’t easy, which is why many tourists choose to take a taxi or rent a car.
The house-museum of the great French writer Maurice Leblanc is popular among Étretat attractions.
