Ouistreham. Riva Bella Beach
Over the past 150 years, the medieval fishing village of Ouistreham has evolved from a small village on the banks of the English Channel to a popular tourist destination for travelers from all over the world.
It started with the construction of guest villas and casinos in the middle of the nineteenth century. The investments of the entrepreneur Longré looked strange, because in those days Ouistreham consisted only of dunes and marshes. But, all expectations about the tourist flow came true thanks to the Riva Bella beach, where this webcam is installed.
On a 360 degree panorama, we can see a huge sandy beach and a developed infrastructure around it, a kart track, casino, hotels and restaurants, a ferris wheel, sports and playgrounds and much more. A beautiful wooden path leads to the beach, on both sides of which flags of different countries flutter in the wind.
The beach of Riva Bella or Beautiful Beach is divided into several zones. In addition to bathers, fans of kayaking, sailing and fishing come here. A distinctive feature of this beach are beach houses, which you can rent in the tourist center.
