Munich. Marienplatz

Marienplatz (also known as Our Lady’s Square) is Munich’s central city square. It is the heart of the Bavarian Capital and a “must see” for every tourist.

On the right hand side you can see the New City Hall building (Neues Rathaus) with a fountain, while the Old City Hall (Alter Rathaus) is located on the east side of the square.

Marienplatz is also decorated with a plague column.
